HSoL game Review #2 – BlazBlue

BlazBlue
BlazBlue is a 2-D fighter for Xbox. It came out in Late June / Early July, and since then many people have claimed it’s the best fighter to come out so far this year. Well, considering the only other real competition is SF4, I would agree with that. Blazblue is an unbelievably well done game. I really didn’t think that a 2-D fighter could have as much depth and detail as Blazblue does.

Look at all the colors in this screenshot. Don't be intimidated by the HUD, it's pretty easy to grasp.
It’s really fun, probably the only fighter where losing isn’t really all that punishing. The combos aren’t a ridiculous length, and the specials don’t stomp in the face of the opponent. Arc system Works really took their time to make this game stand out on the fighter scene, and it does that. Definitely pick up Blazblue if you are a fighter fan. I give it a 8/10, only because the replayability relies solely on how much you want to play online. That’s all for now.
